Darren walked into the living room, but he was in for a shock. He let out a “Lea?” But she wasn’t there. She had heard the two talking in the other room and had panicked. One of her fears happened to be people talking about her behind her back in her mind. And here it was happening, Darren was talking to Blake, two men were talking about her in the other room, and she was terrified.
She moved as quickly and as silently as she could. Finally, she managed to make it to Darren’s bedroom she slept in. But then she had another panic; he would lead him right to her. She was on the bed, but she jumped back up and began to walk down the hall towards one of the other bedrooms. But then she heard Darren’s voice.
Alarmed, she ran as quickly as she could into the spare bedroom, hitting her hip in the process. It hurts so much she almost fell over. But she managed to dive into the closet. It was relatively empty, and then she held her breath. She wasn’t sure what she hoped to carry out as Darren would know she was somewhere in the house. All she could do was delay the inevitable.
